Our church is led by a plurality of elders or pastors. The elders are men chosen for ministry according to clear biblical requirements. (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9) As we understand it, in the New Testament each church was to be lead by a plurality of elders as a safeguard for the church and the pastors. The elders duties include preaching, teaching, giving doctrinal instruction, living exemplary lives, giving counsel, administrating church discipline, managing and ruling the church business.
