• Justification - God declaring us righteous
  
  • By faith alone - Romans 5:1, Galatians 2:16, Ephesians 2:8, 9
  • God thinks of our sins as forgiven and Christ’s righteousness as belonging to us - Romans 5:1, 8:1, Ephesians 1:7
  • God declares us to be righteous in his sight – 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 4:5  

• Regeneration/ Recreated - God recreates us in Christ –
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17

• Adoption – God makes us part of His family -
  
  • Romans 8:15-17, Galatians 3:26, 4:4-7, 1 John 3:1,

• Sanctification – “Sanctification is a progressive work of God and man that makes us more and more free from sin and like Christ in our actual lives.” Theologian Wayne Grudem –
