Joining a Community Group |

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Community groups are casual discussion-oriented Bible study groups that meet weekly in homes. They are a great way to make friends and learn more about the Christian faith in a very relaxed, comfortable setting. Groups generally consist of two types: those that meet weekly with no real end date specified, and those with a short-term commitment of about 12 weeks with an option to renew the commitment for a new period. New groups are formed periodically—generally in the fall and at the beginning of the year. Study topics vary from group to group and are announced when the groups are being formed. Watch for announcements at church or on this site. For more information about Community Groups, contact Bob Levin at the church office.
Why join a community group? North County Community Church believes every person is called to minister to others. That is much more difficult on a Sunday morning with two services and a body of over 300 people. Most ministry in the body takes place outside of the Sunday morning meeting, and a gr3eat place for that to occur is during a weekly community group. Being a part of a community group is not only an opportunity to minister to others but to study the word, develop friendships, and be ministered to.
