We are excited to offer Fuse (Sunday School for ages Pre K - 5th grade) at the 10:45 am service on Sundays September 27th.    Our goal is to make sure everyone is safe in our building and feels comfortable with their children in Nursery and Fuse (Sunday School). We will adjust our protocols as the need and the local authorities require. The following measures have been implemented for the safety of everyone:

· Temperature checks – Both children and the adults working with them will have their temperature checked before participating in Nursery or Fuse. Children will get theirs checked during check-in.
· Face Coverings – Both adults and children age 5 and older are to wear a face covering. Children are to wear IF not socially distanced. Adults are to wear the entire time while helping. (Please bring your own face coverings. We have a limited supply of disposable masks if you forget yours.)
· When possible, children will practice social distancing during the children’s program. Fuse age children will be seated 6 feet apart in the main basement area of the church building.
· Nursery workers will wear gloves when changing diapers or helping a child use the restroom, in accordance to the NC3 Child Protection Policy.
· Areas and items used for childcare will be cleaned regularly in preparation for childcare.
· Any food snacks given to children will be store bought and prepackaged.

Here’s what you need to know about checking in and picking up your child:

· The check in station will be on the main level in the foyer.
· As mentioned above, your child will have his/her temperature taken during this time.
· For Nursery
o Children going into the nursery are to be dropped off after check-in. The adult dropping the child off is to enter through the foyer and exit through the door leading into the main sanctuary room.
o After the service, the adult picking up the child will enter the nursery through the door from the main sanctuary and exit with his/her child into the foyer.
· For Fuse
o Pre K thru 3rd grade children are to sit with their parents/family for the first portion of the church service. They will be dismissed to Fuse in the large basement area after the worship songs are over.
o When Fuse is over, the children will be escorted upstairs by adults to meet their parent/family in the foyer.
· By checking your child in, you agree that your household meets the following conditions:
o Your child does not have the following symptoms that cannot be attributed to another condition (cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, sore throat, headache, new loss of taste/smell, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, congested or runny nose).
o No one in your household has had a fever in the last 24 hours.
o No one in your household has knowingly been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days.
o Your child is generally healthy.
· Please keep your child at home if:
o He/she is exhibiting any cold or flu symptoms or fever.
o A parent/guardian is exhibiting cold or flu symptoms or fever.
o If you know a household member has been exposed to COVID-19.
