On Sunday, April 19th we will have a baptism at both services.  The Bible is very clear that salvation (forgiveness from sin and the righteousness of God) comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.  Baptism is a celebration of salvation.

As we understand from the Bible, baptism is an outward symbol of the inward transformation that occurs when a person put his/her faith in Jesus.
Part of the service is having a brief testimony from each person on the screen while he/she is getting baptized.   These are the testimonies of the people baptized last April, we hope you are encouraged by these.

If you are interested in being baptized call our office at 314-921-1172.

After being angry with God for quite awhile…I came to a decision to accept Jesus as my personal Savior 3 years ago after watching my best friend go through a tragedy.  Seeing that she praised Him through that hard time gave me the courage and guidance to let go of my anger.  YAY  GOD!!!

Rebecca Akers

I was raised in a Christian home and have always internally accepted Christ as my Lord & Savior.  I always wanted to connect with God, but I haven’t felt this much  spiritual clarity and uplifting since joining NC3 this past fall.  I am grateful to have finally found a community with whom to share my faith in God.

Thank you God for loving me when I couldn’t love myself!  Before I accepted Christ, my life was empty in a lot of ways.  I had a loving family and friends, but didn’t know how to share their joy.  Walking with Christ has taught me to think of others than myself; to love others as God loves me. When I look back at the lowest times of my life  . . . I can now see that God was with me the whole time with grace and mercy.

I was raised in a church and baptized into legalism when I was a young child, not knowing what it meant. I lived a life through fear of sin until I was 13 when I made the commitment to believe and follow Christ.  I am so grateful to know that my Lord and Savior died for me on the cross. I have never made a better decision in my life! Today I am ready to share with everyone what is truly in my heart.

I accepted Christ when I was little but never fully grasped His love for me. I learned so much coming to church bit I never took it to heart until a message made me realize I was tired of living in sin. I began apply His word to my daily life and it definitely changed me. Now I can see His work in my life, and He has been working miracles in my heart, mind and soul. Today is a great time to show everyone what is in my heart.

I accepted Christ when I was young after I went to bed. I was contemplating Him and decided that I was going to put my faith in Him. Over the years I have dedicated  more of my life to Him as my faith grows stronger. I feel that the Holy Spirit is telling me that it is time to show my faith in more ways. One of those ways to show my faith is to be baptized.

Jackson Tracy

I have decided to get baptized because I have put my life in God’s hand and let Him guide me to whatever it is I am supposed to go. Summer camp last year made me realize that everything will fall into place if I follow His direction.

Sydney Price

I accepted Christ when I was in AWANA, but I didn’t really realize what I did.  When I went to youth camp in 2012, it really opened my eyes and made find the real reason why I accepted Him.  I need Him.  So this baptism is to show that I need God and have accepted Jesus as my Savior.

I have been coming to NC3 since I was a little child. I grew up in church I always thought I was saved. I had not really made the choice to accept Christ for myself.  Last year at student camp in my small group . . . I made the choice to accept Christ. I think the people who helped me in this journey are my parents and Jim Villalobos. I can’t thank them enough and I am excited for the rest of the journey.
